‘Haikyuu!!‘ is a very popular anime in the sports genre. The manga was written by Haruichi Furudate and goes by the same name. The manga started in 2012 and ended in 2020 after eight years. The very popular manga got its anime adaptation after two years in 2014. There are currently four seasons of Haikyuu!! and the fans are waiting for more seasons.
The anime follows the protagonist Hinata Shoyo who is a young boy who dreams of playing volleyball. The only issue is Hinata is not very tall. He enrolls in Karasuno high where his idol also used to play and applies for the volleyball team. He successfully becomes a starting player on the team and his adventures begin from there.
Who Are Hinata And Kageyama?
Kageyama and Hinata are the main characters of the popular sports anime ‘Haikyuu!!‘. They met each other when they were in junior high and they had a match against each other. Later on, they find out that both of them had enrolled in Karasuno high and would be teammates.
They did not get along at first. It was terrible, to the point where Kageyama would not even toss it to Hinata. This created disharmony in the team. They however solved their uses and started playing together. They worked amazingly well together and they were known as Karasuno’s secret weapon.
Hinata and Kageyama are both a little slow when it comes to academics. They however have incredible instincts and knowledge when it comes to volleyball. Hinata and Kageyama are also each other’s opposites in some ways with Kagyeama being cold and detached and Hinata being hyperactive and extroverted.
Do They Have A Match Against Each Other?
For all the fans waiting for the epic battle, there is a piece of good news. Hinata and Kageyama do play against one another in an official match. And not only those two, but many characters from the ‘Haikyuu!!‘ high school teams are also included in this.
Kageyama, Ushijima, and Hoshiumi are a part of the Schweiden Adlers, and Hinata, Bokuto, Sakusa, and Atsumu are part of the MSBY Black Jackals. These two teams have a match against each other. Hinata worked hard for 2 years in Brazil and he showcased everything he learned during those two years. Kageyama himself learned some new skills and stunned the Black Jackals and the audience. The match was neck to neck and it was quite intense.
In the end, however, Hinata and the Black Jackals emerge victorious.
