‘Dragon Ball’ has given the anime world some of the strongest and most popular characters of all time. These characters include both the antagonists as well as the supposed good guys. Two of the characters that are household names in the anime world are Goku And Vegeta.
They are the primary characters of the show and are extremely powerful. Goku is shown to be the most powerful and Vegeta tries to catch up to him. However, there are certain things that Vegeta can do that Goku can’t. Read to find out what they are.

10) Vegeta Is A Strategist
Goku is smart but he is the type of fighter that thinks on the spot and deals with situations as they come. Vegeta on the other hand is a pure strategist. He analyses and observes his opponent before and during the fight and forms a battle plan according to that. Being a strategist is one of the top 10 things that Vegeta can do but Goku can’t.
9) Vegeta Is Smart And Cunning
Vegeta is very smart and cunning. That is not to say however that Goku is not smart. Quite the contrary Goku is very smart but he is quite naive. In addition to that, during the show, it was proven many times that Vegeta possesses far more knowledge than Goku does. This is how smart Vegeta is.
8) Super Saiyan Blue Evolved
Goku managed to not only attain but perfect Super Saiyan Blue. This of course irked Vegeta to no end, but he made a comeback when he managed to evolve that form. Vegeta evolved the form by removing the constraints on the form which in turn gave him a power boost. This form is unique to Vegeta and Goku has not been able to use it.
7) Vegeta Has Control Over The Great Ape Form
All Saiyans turn into their great ape forms when there is a full moon. More often than not, the Saiyans lose their control in this form, but Vegeta manages to retain it. Not only that, but he can also turn into a great ape consciously. Goku cannot use this particular form because his tail was cut by Master Roshi, and when he used to turn into a great ape, he always went haywire. This makes it one of the top 10 things Vegeta can do but Goku can’t.
6) Train In More Gravity
Goku and Vegeta both are proven training buffs. Goku trained using the gravity machine during his journey to planet Namek. He used that machine to felicitate his training and trained under 100x the gravity of Earth. Due to his competitive nature, Vegeta tries to defeat Goku in this and trains under 450x the gravity of Earth. This proves that Vegeta can train in more gravity than Goku.
5) The Galick Gun
Goku has his signature Kamehameha, and Vegeta has his Galick Gun. To use this attack, Vegeta puts one hand on the other and gathers Ki. Once he manages to gather enough Ki, he releases a blast of concentrated energy beam similar to the Kamehameha. This is an attack that Goku cannot use and this makes it one of the top 10 things Vegeta can do but Goku can’t.
4) Big Bang Attack
The Big Bang Attack is Vegeta’s signature attack. To use this attack, Vegeta simply needs to extend his palm and shoot a blast of energy that leads to a big and destructive explosion. This attack is flexible in addition to being one of the deadliest attacks in the series. Depending on the situation and his needs, Veget can control the intensity, size, and direction of the blast.
3) Use Hakai
Hakai in the simplest way is a technique of destruction. It is a technique unique to the gods of destruction and by using this, they can destroy anything. Vegeta managed to learn a little of this technique and can destroy small objects. Goku cannot use this technique as he needs to get into a destructive mind, which is not possible for him.
2) Ultra Ego
Ultra Ego is in a way the antithesis of Ultra Instinct. Where Ultra Instinct focuses on defense, Ultra Ego focuses more on offense and raw power. It is one of the strongest forms in the series. This state is unique to Vegeta and Goku can not use it. This makes it one of the top 10 things that Vegeta can do but Goku can’t.
1) Vegeta Is A Better Father
Goku’s parenting has always been questioned by ‘Dragon Ball’ fans. Goku is an amazing fighter, but he is not a good father according to many fans. Vegeta is similar to Goku in terms of training his children, but he also cares about them. He spends time with his children outside of training and he was willing to stay in a fractured timeline so that Future Trunks wouldn’t be alone. This makes him a much better parent than Goku.
