What Is Legendary Super Saiyan Form?
Legendary Super Saiyan form was first used by Broly in ‘Dragon Ball’. This transformation as the name suggests can only be used by Saiyans. The super Saiyan transformation itself was considered extremely rare before Goku used it, however, the legendary super Saiyan is a transformation that happens once every 1000 years.
In this form, the Saiyan’s hair turns green and they go berserk. They gain a seemingly immeasurable and unstoppable amount of energy. It is termed the legendary super Saiyan due to its resemblance to the Saiyans of the past.
Before Frieza’s destruction of planet Vegeta, Saiyans used to be bloodthirsty warriors with no concept of mercy. This particular form resembles the Saiyans of the legend who used to be cruel and unforgiving, hence the name Legendary Super Saiyan. Let’s find out if Goku can use this form.
Can Goku Transform Into This Form?
Goku has many amazing and immeasurable transformations in the anime and it seems like his potential has no limit. However, this is the one form that is quite unlikely for Goku to achieve.
According to the information, to achieve this form, the Saiyan needs to have an incredible genetic mutation in their Saiyan cells to handle the raw power of the form. This was the case for Broly, Kefla, and Kale, but is not the case for Goku.
Therefore it is unlikely that Goku may ever be able to use this form. Another reason why Goku may never transform into Legendary Super Saiyan is that as Vegeta stated, this form is only seen once every 1000 years.
