Since the beginning of the ‘Naruto’ series, Kakashi has been one of the most important characters. Despite his importance, the degree and source of his strength have long remained a mystery. Kakashi frequently conceals both his appearance and the Sharingan eye throughout the show using his mask and headband. Given that Kakashi isn’t an Uchiha family member, it comes as a surprise when it is discovered that he has a Sharingan eye.

How Did Kakashi Obtain His Sharingan?
Obito Uchiha, Kakashi’s comrade, was trapped behind a boulder shortly after this injury and had little chance of life. While having half of his body crushed, he gave Kakashi his left eye as a gift.
While Madara Uchiha provided Obito with the ability of white Zetsu to mend his body and enable him to carry out the Akatsuki plot, we learn in ‘Naruto Shippuden’ that Madakashi thought Obito had died after being abandoned for dead. Later on in ‘Naruto Shippuden,’ after engaging in combat with Kakashi to rescue the world, Obito gives Kakashi his chakra, giving him a full pair of two Sharingan eyes with their own distinctive Mangekyou Sharingan.
Why Does He Hide His Sharingan?
Kakashi conceals his Sharingan beneath his Konoha forehead protector because he is unable to use and deactivate it at will. Being that he lacks the vast chakra reserves of an Uchiha member like Naruto, he can minimize the possibility of running out of chakra by doing this. When things grew out of control, he resorted to using his Sharingan solely in emergency situations.
His adaptability and eye-hand coordination were so impressive that he was given the nickname “Copy Ninja Kakashi” for his effortless ability to mimic the moves of others. His Sharingan is completely necessary for his signature move, Chidori, as it makes up for the necessary chakra. Sharingan is a bloodline-based technique that is mostly linked to the Uchiha and Otsutsuki families. No one can utilize it because it can totally drain their chakra and even result in death.
He has developed his mastery of the Sharingan to the point where he is capable of surpassing even the Uchiha members.
