Gon and Killua from ‘Hunter X Hunter’ have one of the best friendships in anime. The two of them have been with each other through thick and thin. Both of them are exceptionally powerful and are prodigies when it comes to nen. They have fought many enemies side by side, ranging from the Phantom Troupe to the Chimera ants. But even after being with each other for nearly two years, the two of them never fought each other seriously.

Who Are Gon And Killua?
Gon is the protagonist of ‘Hunter X Hunter’. He is Ging Freeccs’s son, who is part of the 12 zodiacs and is one of the strongest hunters in the series. Gon was raised by his aunt on a small island and he spent his entire childhood in forests and amongst wild animals. Due to his childhood, Gon grew up to be very agile and active. In addition to that, when it comes to Nen, he is a prodigy. He is an enhancer which compliments his straightforward personality.
Killua is the secondary protagonist of the series. He belongs to the Zoldyck family which is infamous and feared by everyone as they are a family of assassins. Killua was trained by his family to become an assassin his entire childhood. Due to this, he is very strong. He has great mental and physical strength and is immune to many forms of torture such as lightning. Similar to Gon, Killua is also a prodigy in Nen. He is a transmuter and this matches his fickle personality.
Who Would Win In A Fight?
Although these two close friends will never fight each other in a real battle, fans wish to know what would happen in a hypothetical fight. In a hypothetical all-out fight, Killua would most definitely win against Gon. Killua had been killing and fighting for most of his life. This means he has a much greater fighting experience than Gon, and unlike Gon, he isn’t afraid to use unethical methods to win.
Whilst Gon indeed won against Neferpitou because of his nen potential, it is also true that it was most likely a one-time deal. Gon made a deal that granted him great power in exchange for his life force. Moreover, he was able to make that deal due to his negative feelings, but that wouldn’t happen with Killua.
Gon has more firepower due to his Jajanken. Killua on the other hand has his godspeed to avoid all these attacks. As mentioned, Killua isn’t afraid to kill and would most likely fight with the intention of eliminating Gon. This is something that Gon wouldn’t do. Both of them are aware of each other’s weaknesses, but Killua has an upper hand in this. Whilst Gon is unaware of several of his weaknesses, Killua is very self-aware, and because of this, he would know which weaknesses Gon might exploit. Therefore, even though both of them are very strong, Killua would most definitely win in a fight between the two.
