With its fresh perspective on humans mutating, ‘My Hero Academia‘ swept the anime community by storm. This shift in social structure is not unexpected given that more than 80% of people possess a quirk or special ability. Izuku Midoriya, a young child without any quirks who is given the ultimate gift, One for All, is the main character of this Shonen. Fans get to meet Izuku’s mother while following his adventure with his newly gifted work and hero lessons, but who is Izuku’s father?
Izuku’s gorgeous mother, Inko Midoriya, is devoted to her kid. Fans have witnessed Inko sobbing for her son’s safety, defending him, and creating the initial iteration of his super suit on numerous occasions. Although Inko is incredibly proud of her son, she also feels guilty because he wasn’t born with a peculiarity. While Inko can levitate little objects in her direction and Izuku’s father can breathe fire, where is Izuku’s father?

Who Is Izuku’s Father?
Izuku’s father is Hisashi Midoriya. Before going abroad for business, he married Inko and had a child. When Izuku and his mother visited the doctor, he was four years old. This reveals that his father had moved to a different nation when he was still a very little boy. Despite their long separation, Izuku’s mother still refers to the man as her husband, proving that they are still a marriage.
With teal hair and a similar facial shape to the youthful protagonist of ‘My Hero Academia’, Hisashi closely resembles that character. This is a reasonable assumption given that Midoriya’s mother has dark hair and the characters in ‘My Hero Academia’ have characteristics that are quite similar to those of their parents. Inko made reference to Hisashi’s ability to breathe fire over the course of the series. Nothing else was said about his father.
Famous Fan Theories
Fans and theorists have conjectured about Izuku’s possible paternity. Theoretically, Shigaraki, also known as All for One, is the father of Izuku. After breaking down all the specifics and facts, the concept is not as absurd as some might initially assume. The first is that Inko may have met Shigaraki, fallen in love with him, and fathered a kid with him without anyone suspecting it because Shigaraki wouldn’t have been hurt until Izuku was around 8 or 9. If it was also supposed that Izuku’s father had always traveled for work, then neither Izuku nor anybody else would have recognized Shigaraki as his father during the covert altercation between Shigaraki and All Might.
Fans recently noted that the doctor who told Izuku he was quirkless looks uncannily like Kyudai Garaki, albeit this isn’t sufficient proof. Shigaraki is the focus of Kyudai’s irrational dedication; he even created the Nomus for Shigaraki. Given that Kyudai’s peculiarity has allowed him to live for more than 100 years, it wouldn’t make sense for him to carelessly choose to become a doctor for children. Instead, Kyudai might have pretended to be a physician for Shigaraki to make sure Izuku lacked any peculiarities.
