Who’s Itachi’s Lover?
Izumi Uchiha was a member of the Uchiha Clan in Konoha. Izumi was Hazuki Uchiha’s daughter. Izumi’s father was not an Uchiha, unlike her mother, hence for Izumi’s first few years of existence, their family lived apart from the Uchiha clan.
Her father lost his life defending her during the attack of the Nine-Tailed Fox. Izumi eventually awoke her Sharingan from the anguish brought on by his passing and the guilt that he would not have died if she had been more powerful. After that, she and her mother rejoined the Uchiha family.
Since her time at the academy, she had always loved Itachi. She didn’t draw Itachi’s attention at first, but after learning that she had awakened her Sharingan, he warmed up to her. Izumi admitted to Itachi that she aspired to become a shinobi like her father who had been one. She also wanted to follow the same career path as the person she adored, which is why she wanted to become a shinobi. Clearly, Itachi and Izumi were both falling in love.
Did He Kill Her?
Itachi was given an assignment that is today regarded as one of the most tragic events in the “Naruto” series. He knew the Uchiha were planning to overthrow Konoha that night, and he was given a mission to kill his whole clan.
Itachi decided to kill Izumi first because there was no turning back once he did it, so he did it while he was getting ready to do it. He entered her home covertly and used a Tsukuyomi on Izumi. She led a tranquil existence with Itachi in that fantasy, where they were married and had children. She fell ill and was on her deathbed as a result of the same hallucination. Itachi made the decision to kill her there and then by taking advantage of the timing.
He seemed to have great affection and concern for Izumi. However, he had to decide between starting a war and destroying his own tribe, which would have also protected his brother.
He was compelled to kill Izumi because she belonged to the Uchiha clan, yet he did it with the utmost respect. This was a straightforward declaration of his love for Izumi, and it appears that having to make that decision really wounded him.
