‘One Piece‘ contains several arcs, but one of the longest arcs would be the Dressrosa Arc. Though the world-building in the series is mindblowing, this arc and the island will make one go crazy. It harbors not only humans but also dolls who are very much living and sipping tea like your neighbor. It’s the likes of which you’ve never seen.
Besides this bizarre setup rules the king of the country Donquixote Dolflamingo and his troupe. To all citizens, he is a kind ruler but underneath he is the one who is brewing the darkest conspiracies enough to shake the world. Our main character Luffy and the Straw Hat crew anchor in the kingdom along with Law to fulfill their own mission. But will things go smoothly as intended?

Who Is Donquixote Doflamingo?
Donquixote Doflamingo is one of the worst antagonists in the series, and the main villain of the Dressrosa Arc. Things start to appear grim when Dolflamingo’s past is uncovered. Much to everyone’s horror, he is part of the Celestial Dragons. Apart from being a pirate, Warlord, and king of a country, he is also the biggest underworld dealer. He goes by his pen name Joker.
He’s a former Celestial noble, but still holds the power like one until Luffy beats him. At first, the Donquixote family moved out of Dressrosa to claim glory for themselves. Eventually, the country named a new king which became their new chapter.
Unfortunately for them, Dolflamingo returned to the kingdom and manipulated everyone. Though there are people who’ll die for him, Dolflamingo just uses them as chess pieces. He has zero sympathy for others. No matter how much of a villain a character can be, they either seek glory or money.
His introduction was given during the Sky Island Arc, and the Marineford Arc, before getting a full arc only to himself. He loves to use and manipulate others and only showed concern when his drug business got halted by joint efforts of Luffy’s crew and Law.
Why Did Doflamingo Want Momonosuke?
During the Punk Hazard Arc, Momonosuke was one of the abducted children. He mistakenly ate a man-made devil fruit. This fruit earned him the power to turn into a mighty dragon and protect his beloved ones including Luffy and the others. One of the most important clients that Dolflamingo had and was even afraid of is Kaido.
Kaido apparently killed Momonuske’s dad who led the Wano Country. To hide Momonuske’s birth he keeps a low profile. While in some instances it was also indicated that the dragon might be the last ancient weapon Pluton.
His power and importance were enough for Dolflamingo to make his move. Maybe he wanted to have the upper hand in negotiating new terms with Kaido, after his failed SAD project. He did become flustered when Luffy and Law destroyed his plans and underworld contract dealings. Nevertheless, Momonosuke became a major pillar of One Piece in the Wano Arc.
