‘Dragon Ball,’ part of the Big Three, is one of the most-watched anime shows worldwide. Set in its own universe, it paints the story of our protagonist Goku, and his journey to becoming one of the strongest characters in the world. He is accompanied by his family and friends, as he sets off to restrain and befriend villains.
In a world where the strongest thrives, Goku and his friends are continuously challenged by powerful individuals. Training to become strong is always an option, but in their world, there’s another trump card to the process. The trump card is the dragon balls, which can grant its user any wish. By this, it is obvious that you can wish for anything and it’ll make it true. But there are different forms of it.

Normal Dragon Balls
Normal dragon balls are fist-sized balls that summon the dragon Shenron. One can ask for a wish and it’ll make it come true through its power. Though there’s a catch. The dragon can only fulfill wishes that are within or less powerful than its creator. First created by Kami and later recreated by Dende, the balls are 7 in number. After each wish, they scatter away to disperse the negative energy taken for fulfilling one’s wish.

Super Dragon Balls
Super dragon balls, just as the name suggests, are on a level of their own. They are in Universes 6 & 7 and are a size of a planet. Given their humongous size, one can easily guess how powerful their creator would have been. They are the original dragon ball set to ever exit and all others are replicas of them.
Created by Dragon God Zalama, they can grant any wishes of the user. There’s no limit to it, and the price required is balanced to it. To make a wish for these super dragon balls, one has to use the ancient Divine language while speaking a particular phrase to the “core of Zalama’s presence”.
Conclusion
The end result is pretty much as already discussed. Dragon Balls, be they normal or super are of paramount importance in their universe. The basic difference between the two would be the size and the power they hold. 0bviously the original version will have greater power than its subbed ones. In many fights, and even in bringing the dead back, the dragon ball’s miracles seem to be endless, making its characters the strongest in the series.
