The Founding Titan, one of the nine Titans and also the original Titan, is a very powerful entity in ‘Attack on Titan’. Its Scream had the ability to alter the memories and physical characteristics of the Subjects of Ymir, as well as create and command new Titans. However, historically, only members of the royal family had access to this ability.

What Are The Powers Of The Founding Titan?
Screaming activates the power of the Founding Titan. The screams of a human would be sufficient for whoever is in control of the Founding Titan to exercise its powers without having to shift. Freida Reiss manipulated Historia’s memories by casually talking.

Memory manipulation: The Subjects of Ymir’s thoughts and memories might be changed by the Founding Titan. This power had a connection to the Titan control power. Titans have only converted humans, as stated by Erwin Smith; hence, the screams that control the former should be able to affect the latter as well. Karl Fritz used it to make the Ymir Subjects inside the Walls forget about the outside world.
Titan control: The Founding Titan gave its wielder the power to command Titans at will and force them to obey almost any order without hesitation by screaming. Eren Yeager gave evidence of this when he mistakenly sent orders to surrounding Pure Titans to consume Dina Fritz’s Titan and attack the Armored Titan.
Anatomical manipulation: Any Subject of Ymir could have their bodily composition altered by the Founding Titan. This ability was once employed by a 600-year-old Eldian king to render the Subjects of Ymir immune to a widespread pandemic. Zeke Yeager intended to utilize this power to render all Subjects of Ymir sterile so that they would all perish within a generation and eradicate Titans from the world for good.
Telepathic communication: Through the paths they are connected to, the Founding Titan is able to telepathically communicate with all of the Subjects of Ymir. When declaring his plans for the Rumbling of the globe, Eren used this power to speak with each and every Subject of Ymir.
Is Eren Also a Finding Titan?
A ruthless boss gave the order for Ymir’s execution by hunting since she was held responsible for allowing a pig to go missing. In essence, Ymir was to be hunted down and murdered like an animal. Ymir noticed a weird tree with a gap in the middle as her executioners pursued her. She hurriedly stepped through the entrance, but she fell into a subterranean water cavern where she met a Titan of unknown origin. She soon shocked her pursuers and many in the neighborhood when she burst out of the cave with her newly discovered abilities which are of the Founding Titan.
King Fritz married Ymir after learning of her achievements and utilized her to improve Eldia’s infrastructure and crops. After fifteen years, Ymir died defending King Fritz from an assassination attempt. However, despite her selfless act, King Fritz had her remains desecrated by having his daughters Maria, Rose, and Sheena Fritz consume her body in order to give them Titan Shifter abilities. The Ymir-Fritz bloodline was now responsible for passing these abilities down.
Later Grisha Yeager ate Frieda Reiss (descendants of Ymir) to get the powers of the founding titan which were later passed down to Eren. The strength of the three Titans was in Eren. The Attack and Founding Titans were given to Eren by his father. During the Liberio raid, he received the War Hammer Titan as well after devouring Lara Tybur.
