‘Dragon Ball’ has given the anime world some of the best transformations and fusions of all time. Goku in particular has some of the most amazing transformations and forms and fans seem to love him and all of his transformations.
Just when it seems that he is pressed up against the wall, Goku adapts and dons a new form. This makes many fans curious as to when his forms end. Here’s an explanation of Goku’s final form in ‘Dragon Ball’.

Who Is Son Goku?
Son Goku, better known as Goku is the protagonist of the ‘Dragon Ball’ franchise. He is one of the most popular anime characters of all time, if not the most. In ‘Dragon Ball’, Goku is a Saiyan from the planet Vegeta and was sent to Earth when he was just a baby. He was taken in by his grandpa Gohan, after whom he named his son.
Goku is a Saiyan and thus can turn into a great ape on the full moon. To prevent that from happening Goku’s tail was cut. Goku loves to train and he loves fighting, something his son, Gohan didn’t inherit from him. Due to his fighting prowess and his saving the Earth many times, he was deemed the Earth’s greatest warrior.
Goku has transformed many times throughout the series and each form is unique and brings something new to the table. Some of his most popular forms are Super Saiyan Blue, Super Saiyan God, and his fusions with Vegeta known as Gogeta and Vegito.

What Is His Final Form?
The last anime in the franchise is ‘Dragon Ball Super’. In this anime, Goku transformed into his last form which is his Mastered Ultra Instinct. Vegeta’s last form is the Ultra Ego, which can be considered the antithesis of Ultra Instinct. Where Goku was taught this form by an angel, a god of destruction taught Vegeta. Ultra Instinct focuses on defense whereas Ultra Ego prioritizes offense.
Goku was taught Ultra Instinct by Whis, the angel for Universe 7. He taught this form to Beerus as well, but he could never perfect it. Ultra Instinct is the form of the gods and is considered the strongest form anyone can possess. Goku first used this form against Jiren in the tournament of power. This form was not enough to beat the warrior from Universe 10 and thus Goku had to tap into the mastered Ultra Instinct mode. Jiren was thoroughly overwhelmed in this form and would have been defeated if Goku could sustain the form for longer. As a result, he trained to tap into this form willingly so that he could sustain it longer. This is the final form that Goku has in ‘Dragon Ball’.
