Who Is Kibutsuji Muzan?
Muzan Kibutsuji, the ultimate evil in the realm of Demon Slayer, is both terrible and enigmatic. Japan has been haunted by Muzan, the first demon and afterward the Demon King, for a millennium. Muzan is a monster that, is almost immortal and might cause even the deadliest demons to shudder. Muzan is a terrifying nightmare who can summon and control demons and who can withstand being beheaded or even having his entire body completely destroyed. Even though he was the Demon King and the personification of evil, Muzan, was once a human.
Muzan, the first demon ever, was once a human who was cursed over a thousand years ago. He is the one who murdered the Kamado family and changed Tanjiro and Nezuko into orphans. He’s also the one who turned Nezuko into a demon. This made them set off on their quest to restore Nezuko to human form and slay Kibutsuji.
Every demon in existence was made by him, and he programmed them to prey on people. The myriad of demon creatures led to numerous human deaths. This sparked a terrible conflict between demons and demon slayers.
How Did Muzan Became The Demon King?
In his mother’s womb, Muzan Kibutsuji’s heart stopped beating several times until it was declared that he was stillborn roughly 1,000 years ago, in Japan’s Heian Period. As he prepared to be burned, Muzan coughed and wriggled on the fire, demonstrating that he wants to live.
Muzan, however, would never be able to totally escape his close association with death because he was later discovered to have a deadly illness that would claim his life before he turned 20. Muzan sought out a physician who, using trials on the dying young man, attempted to prolong his life since he refused to accept that he was going to die.
Kibutsuji killed his physician as a result of his rage over the Blue Spider Lily treatment’s failure to cure Muzan. But as soon as Muzan spilled the doctor’s blood, he became aware of how strong he had become—almost superhuman-like. Muzan also realized right away that he would die if he ever came into contact with sunlight. Muzan became the first demon in the history of the world thanks to whatever drug the doctor had created using the Blue Spider Lily.
