What Is Instant Transmission?

Instant transmission is sort of a teleportation technique. It can be used by an individual by placing two fingers on one’s forehead and concentrating. After much practice and concentration, one can use this technique without using their fingers and through concentration alone. However, using the second method can take a little more time.

This ability allows the user to travel through distances, be it a few meters or light years. In addition to that, it allows the user to move through the living world and the other world. The user needs to concentrate and focus on one person’s Ki and use transmission or try to locate that individual and then finally transport to them.

This ability is very useful as a person if storing enough can transport people along with them even if they do not know the technique. The only condition is that they have to be touching the user. However, it also has a limit as specified by Goku as he cannot transport a very large population.

Goku has been using the technique for a long time and it is one of his signature techniques. He learned this technique after his battle with Frieza and it was the Yardrats who taught him the technique. He was training on their planet when he was taught this move.

Goku managed to make the move unique to him and it is one of his most used techniques. He learned the technique while firing a Kamehameha.

Vegeta was taught the technique by the Yardrats as well. However, he was taught long after Goku was. It was Pybara who taught him the technique and he used it to travel to Earth to help the Z fighters.

The reason Vegeta learned instant transmission very late is that he does not like it. Even after using it, he stated his dislike for the technique and vowed never to use it again. This is probably because the technique is unique to Goku, and keeping Vegeta’s competitive streak, he dislikes anything associated with Goku.
