Kouji Mori, the writer of Berserk, and the artists at Studio Gaga want to continue the story of Guts and the Band of the Hawk even though Kentaro Miura passed suddenly at an untimely age. The return of Berserk is only a few days away, despite this tragic turn of events.
To get fans excited for the release of Chapter 365, the publishers of Young Animal have produced a stunning new color illustration of the Black Swordsman and his faithful fairy Puck. The conclusion of the long-running anime series, which continues to be a favorite among viewers, is now being worked on.

A sudden aortic dissection was the cause of Miura’s untimely death in the previous year. At the time of his passing, he was 54 years old. In September last year, the final chapter of Berserk that he was working on was published in a posthumous edition of Young Animal.
This edition also included condolences and expressions of gratitude from a large number of fans of the series as well as notable figures working in the anime and manga industries. Some fans of Berserk believed that the story couldn’t be told without Miura’s direction, but others maintained that Guts’ protracted hunt for revenge required a more definite ending to the series’ plotline.
Kouji Mori Will Write The New Chapters Of The Manga
Hakusensha revealed earlier this month that the company plans to continue publication of the series without Miura after a prolonged uncertainty over its future. The tale will be written by Mori and illustrated by Miura’s assistants at Studio Gaga starting with Chapter 365.
A new story arc will begin when the last six chapters of the Fantasia Arc/Elf Island plot have been completed. Mori said, “I would only write the words and storylines that Miura has outlined to me.” “Of course, it will not be perfect. Still, I think I can almost tell the story that Miura wanted to tell… Many of you may not be fully satisfied with the Berserk written without Miura, but we hope everyone’s thoughts will be with us.”
