The awards season this year has brought several instances other than wins and losses that made it to the headlines. The Golden Globes host Jo Koy became the most talked about person after the event, chiefly because of his joke on Taylor Swift. The Critics Choice Awards put the spotlight on the healthy banter between Pedro Pascal and Kieran Culkin.
The Emmys that were wrapped up on Monday also gave the audience some spectacular moments. But what stole the show was an unexpected, long kiss between the cast of the TV show ‘The Bear‘. Though the show ruled the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards, this kiss came off as an amusing surprise for the fans.

‘The Bear’ has been at the forefront for nominations and wins this awards season. The show won an Emmy in the Best Comedy Series category, and the entire cast was joyous. But the joy Ebon Moss-Bachrach was feeling was perhaps a bit more than others as the actor went on to passionately kiss Matty Matheson for a long time on stage.
The big win for the Hulu/FX series ‘The Bear‘ was complemented by this musing display of affection between the two actors as the cast gathered on stage to accept their six Emmy trophies. Moss-Bachrach is also an actor who plays the role of cousin Richie on the show. The cast and the audience reacted with a mix of shock and cheers as Moss-Bachrach continued to kiss Matheson for a good while on stage.

The Unexpected Kiss Left Matheson And The Audience Stunned
“I love you, Ebon,” a slightly stunned Matheson exclaimed after the kiss ended. After regaining his composure, Matheson continued his acceptance speech. “I just love restaurants so much. The good, the bad, it’s rough. We’re all broken inside, and every single day, we’ve got to show up and cook and make people feel good by eating something and sitting at a table, and it’s really beautiful,” he said.
He also spoke about the challenges that the creators of the show faced, showering praises on the dedicated cast and crew. “It’s hard work. It’s early hours, we don’t see the sun for three months. Shooting on a soundstage is really cool. I’ve never been on one before. I’ve never acted before,” Matheson, who is also the producer of the show, said.
Matheson also mentioned the hard work behind making people both “feel good or filled with anxiety” through the show. Apart from this win, the Hulu/FX series had a remarkable night at the Emmys, with Ayo Edebiri winning Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, Jeremy Allen White securing Best Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, and Moss-Bachrach taking home the trophy for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.
