Adam Sandler Says He Gets “A Little Jumpy” Around Taylor Swift. Here’s Why

While laymen are more likely to have a fan moment if their favorite stars appear in front of them, celebrities themselves are no exception to this behavior. Though many celebrities may seem like the most confident and secure version of themselves to their fans, it is likely that they would lose their calm if their favorite celebrity appears in front of them. And it’s not us who’s saying that — Adam Sandler is.

A popular celebrity himself, the comedian-actor recently revealed that he gets intimidated when he is around pop sensation Taylor Swift. While it’s no surprise that Taylor Swift gives him a hard time given her popularity and stardom, Sandler’s honesty about it has left many of his fans even more impressed.

Explaining his awe for Swift, Sandler explained that it comes from what she means to his kids. Asked about the one celebrity that still gives him his fan moments, Sandler said, “Taylor Swift, because what she means to my kids, I get a little jumpy. Just cause I don’t wanna blow it for my kids. So I’m a little like, ‘Taylor Taylor,’ like I talk a little too loud or something. I don’t say as cool as I can.”

However, he made sure to mention to that his kids are better than him and  know the lyrics inside and out. “But it’s just, remember The Beatles, every song on the record, you know?
