The freedom to a luxurious life too, is a luxury. Russian celebrities recently hosted a party- and the dress code was to be as little covered as possible. The nature of the party seems to be a threat to the country’s conservative values as it has managed to anger Russian officials and pro-war activists.

Russian Nude Party Causes Trouble For Celebrities

A star-studded nude party was held in Mutabor, a famous nightclub in Moscow. Photos of which showed stars dressing up in as little clothing as possible, with the attendance of stars like Filipp Kirkorov, Lolita and Dima Bilan, and 2018 presidential candidate Ksenia Sobchak.
The party was held by Anastasia Ivleeva who is at the centre of the slamming going around. Yekaterina Mizulina, head of the Free Internet League, a pressure group has demanded that there be stricter laws on the freedom of posting online and also that the attendees should be boycotted.
“Such hangouts are a shot in the foot of the entire policy pursued by the state,” Mizulina said, “[The partygoers] live in a different world than the rest of the country.”
“These people should be boycotted at the state level,” she added. Glimpses of the party were shared by Anastasia with the caption “playboy party 2023”.

What Action Is Being Taken Against The Celebrities?

Lawmaker Dmitry Gusev asked state broadcasters to cut those who attended the almost naked party from their prerecorded New Year’s Day.
“If their performances are impossible to delete, alter their images and voices,” Gusev wrote in a post. Activists also urged the police to investigate whether the party violated Russia’s ‘gay propaganda’.
This issue is being taken very seriously by Russian officials. Further action might be taken against the party-goers.
