Elon Musk took to Twitter to reply to one of Medvedev’s tweets about the U.K. Prime Minister Liz Truss’ resignation. Musk replied by appreciating Medvedev’s tweet and said, “Pretty good troll tbh.” But he further went on to ask him about the status of the Ukrainian city of Bakhmut.

Although Medvedev did not reply to Musk’s tweet then, he took almost a year to reply back. Medvedev replied, “You’ve asked me about Bakhmut…. Come and see for yourself!”

    What Is The Altercation About?

    Russia captures Bakhmut

Elon Musk talked about one of East Ukraine’s cities- Bakhmut. This city became the epicenter of Ukraine vs Russia war. The capture of Bakhmut was crucial to Russia and Ukraine fought hard to not let that happen. However, Russian troops successfully captured the city with the help of the Wagner Group.

The fall of Bakhmut comes as a big victory for the Russian troops after a series of defeats. And this is crucial because now, Russia can capture more parts of Donbas. Both Kyiv and Moscow suffered huge losses during this year-long fight.

And former Russian President Medvedev took to Twitter to reply to Elon Musk after almost a year after the fall of Bakhmut. Although many thought this to be insensitive, others have taken to Twitter to talk about the former President’s humor.
