Founder of the Twitter page @LeaveHeardAlone, Rebecca, also spoke about the criticism of the Cannes Film Festival, saying that the Depp v. Heard trial led to the slamming of the #MeToo movement. She added, “Hollywood industries seem to be riding that backlash to return to the status quo. To open your festival with Johnny Depp? To be frank, it feels like a slap in the face.”
