The Angelina Jolie–Brad Pitt legal war seems to have no ending. The court fights over their divorce and later over their winery Château Miraval have no ending. Angelina Jolie Reveals Brad Pitt’s Attempt To Cover-Up Abuse
In the latest court documents filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, Angelina Jolie’s lawyers had argued that Brad Pitt has to disclose personal communications. However, the latter’s lawyers described it as “wide-ranging and intrusive” in a separate filing.
People reports that in the newly obtained court document, Jolie’s attorneys claimed that Jolie “was not acting with malice and the intent to hurt Pitt in response to any custody ruling” when she sold her share of Miraval in 2021. The court documents further read, “Instead, it was Pitt who refused to buy her interest unless he received his newly expanded NDA, enforceable by an $8.5 million holdback specifically designed to force her silence about his abuse and cover-up.”

Angelina Jolie Accuses Brad Pitt Of Domestic Violence
The court documents from Jolie accuse Pitt of domestic violence and his desire to silence her with the NDA. The documents read, “While Pitt advances what is effectively an outdated privacy-of-domestic-violence argument to shield his abuse, his argument is not the law, at least not in this century, and he cites no authority that would give him such unwarranted protections.”
Jolie’s attorneys argue, “In any event, he waived any privacy protections when he sued Jolie.” However, Brad’s attorneys argue that his “private, third-party communications” from that time should not be relevant to their dispute over the winery. They also claimed that Jolie intends to “turn this business dispute into a re-litigation of the former couple’s divorce case.” The couple’s court fights are yet to be resolved as new filings are happening almost every day.
