    The fashion inspired movie hit the screen in 2006 and was an instant hit at the time. But years after its release, its impact still remains in Hollywood. As the movie is nearing two decades, the iconic trio from ‘The Devil Wears Prada‘ is set to strut their stuff together once again at the 2024 SAG Awards.

    Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, and Emily Blunt — the dazzling stars from 2006 release ‘The Devil Wears Prada‘ are ready to grace the stage as presenters. The reunion after 18 years in the making is set to add more glory to the awards season, and fans can’t keep their calm.

    When the movie was  initially released, Streep’s portrayal of Miranda Priestly earned her both a SAG Award nomination and an Oscar nod. Besides, Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt were also cast in iconic roles in the movie.

    Now, in 2024, the stars align as these leading ladies join forces once more, promising a moment that’s sure to be nothing short of iconic. Adding to the excitement, Emily Blunt is running for outstanding performance by a female actor in a supporting role and outstanding performance by a cast in a motion picture in ‘Oppenheimer‘.

    Meanwhile, Meryl Streep‘s wit and charm in her recent show ‘Only Murders in the Building have gotten the series nominated for outstanding performance by an ensemble in a comedy series.

    SAG Promises A Night Filled With Variety Of Hollywood Stars

    The star-studded affair doesn’t stop there, with a glittering lineup of presenters announced for the ceremony. Michael Cera, Jessica Chastain, Robert Downey Jr., Billie Eilish, and more will share the stage, ensuring an evening filled with Hollywood’s finest.

    The curtain for the SAG Awards will rise with Idris Elba opening the show and Jennifer Aniston presenting the SAG Life Achievement Award to legendary Barbra Streisand.

    Ahead of their reunion, Blunt and Hathaway recently reminisced about their time on the ‘Devil Wears Prada set during Variety’s ‘Actors on Actors‘ series in December. “We just had a joy bomb of a time on that movie. I don’t know if any of us knew it was going to become what it did. It’s quoted to me every week. It will be the movie that changed my life,” Emily Blunt said.

    The 30th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards unfold live on Netflix on February 24, at 8 p.m. ET, from the glamorous Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles.
