For Nicole Kidman, It’s All About Batman!
In a recent interview with L’Officiel, Nicole Kidman set the record straight. “Everyone’s like, ‘Why are you doing that?‘” Kidman recalled with a laugh, addressing the confusion surrounding her role in ‘Batman Forever‘. Her answer? “Because I get to kiss Batman!“
Nicole’s choice to star in blockbusters isn’t driven by dollar signs. “The thing people don’t understand is, it’s not about the check. How Nicole Kidman Fell In Love With TV
It’s not just movies that have Nicole Kidman’s heart; her recent pivot to television has been nothing short of groundbreaking. We’re talking about her Emmy-winning work on ‘Big Little Lies‘ and gripping performances in shows like ‘The Undoing‘ and ‘Nine Perfect Strangers‘, as well as her upcoming Netflix limited series ‘The Perfect Couple.’
TV has given Kidman the chance to sink her teeth into characters over time, something she’s come to adore. “I’ve fallen in love with the long format because I like the building of character and I like that they’re limited,” she told L’Officiel.
“You’re not committing a huge amount of time. It’s still got a cinematic feel to it. It’s more like a slow burn than a film, where you only have two hours to tell your story and build a character,” the actress said.
Kidman’s next project, ‘The Perfect Couple‘, will release on September 5 on Netflix.
