Ben Kweller is a popular musician in the United States. The multi-instrumentalist singer and songwriter was earlier a part of a post-grunge band named Radish. In 1993, he found it with John Kent and Ryan Green. The band was dismantled after receiving substantial media coverage.

Ben Kweller’s Son Is Dead
In 2003, Ben Kweller married his long-time girlfriend Liz. She was the inspiration behind his 2002 song Lizzy from his album Sha Sha. The couple shares two sons, Dorian Zev Kweller, and Judah Kweller.
According to a Page Six report, Kweller confirmed via his Instagram handle on Tuesday that his younger son Zev died in a car accident. “There’s no way that I can be typing this but I am…. Our son, Dorian Zev Kweller, was killed last night. He was only 16 and he was a true legend. Kindest, gentle soul, a friend to all,” he wrote.
He further wrote: “If you knew him, you know. We’ll never get over him as long as we’re here on earth. Please keep his spirit alive with your memories and the music he made.”

Ben Said He Is Proud Of His Son
The ‘Wasted & Ready‘ singer further said that he was proud of his son for following in his footsteps. He said that Zev “wrote and recorded songs every day,” calling him a “true poet from the day he started speaking”.
“Only a few of his recordings were released but he was on a path and excited about his journey,” he added. He said that his son’s “first big gig” was slated at the South by Southwest Conference and Festivals in Austin, Texas.
“My last text with him was about the merch we wanted to make,” the singer recalled. “My baby boy was at the starting line with so much life ahead of him… I have no idea why things like this happen.”
