Jason Momoa is now a popular name in the Hollywood industry. The 43-year-old actor rose to prominence with his portrayal of Khal Drogo in HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones.’ He has since appeared in a number of successful films and television shows including ‘Aquaman‘ and Apple TV+ science fiction show ‘See.’
But there was a time when Jason was doing projects he was not very happy with. One of them is the 2011 swashbuckling drama ‘Conan The Barbarian.’ The actor has now openly criticized this remake of the namesake Arnold Schwarzenegger film from 1982. In an interview, he used adjectives to describe it that clearly show his disdain for the film.

Jason Momoa Mocks His Own Film
In a recent interview with the British GQ Magazine, the ‘Dune‘ actor slammed his own 2011 film ‘Conan The Barbarian‘. It was a remake of the 1982 Schwarzenegger film of the same name.
Momoa said, “I’ve been a part of a lot of things that really sucked, and movies where it’s out of your hands. Conan was one of them.”
He added, “It’s one of the best experiences I had, and it [was] taken over and turned into a big pile of shit.”
‘Conan The Barbarian‘ was initially supposed to be directed by Brett Ratner, who was replaced by German filmmaker Marcus Nispel. It was stuck at Warner Bros. before Lionsgate bought its rights. The film was a colossal critical and commercial failure.
Jason And Eiza Gonzalez Are Back Together
Just a few weeks ago, it was reported that both Momoa and Mexican actress Eiza Gonzalez are back together. The two lovebirds were seen enjoying a romantic ride on his Harley Davidson in Malibu, California one afternoon.
They were rumored to have separated earlier after dating quietly for months. But it seems that they are finally together again. The 32-year-old-actress was seen looking cozy as she wrapped her hands around Jason on the motorcycle.
This was the first public outing of Momoa and Eiza as a couple. The 42-year-old actor was seen donning a pink hoodie, a helmet, and a pair of grey trousers. Eiza on the other hand sported a varsity jacket with yellow sleeves, black pants, and white sneakers.
It was earlier noted by a source that they parted ways as they are “just very different people.” The source said, “they love each other very much having dated quietly for some time before it became public.” Just before their outing, Eiza was seen flirting with Jason on social media.
