Ben Affleck’s journey as Batman in DCEU has been nothing less than a rollercoaster ride. After dealing with a catastrophic experience making 2017’s ‘Justice League‘, Ben reprised his role in ‘Zack Snyder’s Justice League’ though, the involvement on screen was minimal.
On the other hand, fans are tired of waiting for Affleck to reprise his role as Bruce Wayne in next year’s ‘The Flash’, which is currently caught up in multiple controversies. But it seems like they won’t have to wait much as there’s some exciting announcement regarding ‘Aquaman 2’and Affleck’s return from the lead actor Jason Momoa himself.

OMG! Ben Affleck To Return As Batman In ‘Aquaman’ 2
That’s right! Jason Momoa recently confirmed that he won’t be the only ‘Justice League’ member appearing in the upcoming sequel of ‘Aquaman.’ Along with his Arthur Curry, Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne will be ruling the screen as well. The actor announced Affleck’s return as Batman on Instagram Thursday after the pair was “busted” by tourists on the backlot of the studio.
“REUNITED Bruce and Arthur. Love u and miss u Ben,” Momoa captioned the photo of himself and Affleck posted on Instagram. “WB studio tours just explored the backlot alright busted on set all great things coming AQUAMAN 2 all my aloha J.”
Momoa also posted a video of fans, who were on the Warner Bros Studio Tour in Hollywood. “It’s not a f—ing secret anymore, is it?” an amused Momoa said in the video on Instagram. “That’s what happens, Warner Brothers, when you walk out of your set and there’s our fans [back stage].” The official DC Comics simply replied, “Legends.”
The Announcement Sent Fans On A Frenzy
The ongoing issues delaying the release of ‘The Flash’ was no doubt making the fans upset. But, this recent news has restored the enthusiasm of Affleck’s Batman fans. They have flooded Twitter with their best wishes to the duo of Bruce and Arthur.
One user wrote, “Make him the main batman in the DCEU if he wants to come back again please he was literally perfect for that universe.”
“Yes he’ll yeah I’m so happy he’s back Bruce and Arthur a reunion,” wrote another.
