Brad Pitt: The Owner Of Many Luxurious Houses
The ‘Fight Club‘ star has his current residences spanned across three countries that range from a sprawling French estate to a Manhattan pied-à-terre. Not only this, he bought many of these with his ex-wife Angelina Jolie. This makes Jolie co-owner of some of the estates. Let’s have a look at the sprawling mansions belonging to him.
French Quarter Mansion
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt purchased this 7,000-square-foot, five-bedroom, five-bathroom Big Easy mansion in late 2006. This was while he was in town filming ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button‘. The couple even let Jonah Hill stay there for a month while he filmed ‘21 Jump Street.’ Another insight: their neighbor happens to be Matthew McConaughey.
Los Feliz Compound
The actor purchased this California home back in 1994, before he got together with Jennifer Aniston. He has since reportedly had it renovated to a 5,300-square-foot home to make it more family-friendly. This expansion plan included purchasing adjacent properties for more privacy and creating more space to play for his children.
Santa Barbara Beach House
The Golden Globe winner reportedly nabbed this Santa Barbara beach house on 11.5 acres back in 2000 for $4 million. Since then it has been used as a vacation home for his family, including his six kids.
Majorca Villa
The Hollywood star reportedly fell in love with the area while filming ‘Allied,’ and decided to purchase a property there. The $3.7 million villa is located on the Spanish island of Majorca.
Chateau Miraval
The stars of ‘Mr & Mrs Smith‘ have called this one Chateau Miraval. Located in the Provence region of France, it had been the Pitt and Jolie’s home since 2008. But they didn’t officially purchase the sprawling property, which features 1,200 acres, a vineyard, and a private lake until 2012 for a reported $60 million. Now, Jolie has sold off her portion. The move made her ex-husband file a case against her.
Pitt’s New Home – Seaward
Brad Pitt is reportedly a big fan of craftsman-style homes, which could be why he has purchased his latest bachelor pad. There he will be joined by his brood of six children with ex-Angelina Jolie. He designed the property on a piece of land owned by infamous author Daniel Lewis James, who wrote ‘Famous All Over Town’, naming the property on the Carmel highlands after him.
It has been owned by Searock since 1999. A limited liability company tied to the late Chicago financier Joe Ritchie and his wife, Sharon Ritchie. The property is a stone’s throw from the stunning California coast. Its design is intended to keep the property close to the rocks as though it were part of the coastline. The luxurious mansion is also near to the beach. It boasts a ‘wooden aesthetic’ and is built from locally quarried sandstone and granite.
