Kanye West Makes An Appearance In Cardi B’s New Music Video
Cardi B released a new music video titled ‘Hot Shit‘ on Wednesday and it features Lil Durk. The three-minute 37-second already garnered around 2 million views on YouTube just hours after its release.
The video, directed by award-winning filmmaker Lado Kvataniya, also has an appearance from Kanye West. He has his face covered throughout the video as he sings his verses near a sports bike.
The new video also shows Cardi singing at the top of a towering skyscraper in her hometown of New York City. She then zigzags between several locations like a desert with a giant statue and two arms that are setting her ablaze. The video is heavy on CGI with almost every frame in the background being a digital creation. The lyrics are energetic, which is a signature of Cardi’s music.
The rapper first announced the single on June 26 and broke the news during a commercial for the 2022 BET Awards. The song ‘Hot Shit‘ is Cardi’s first single since last year’s ‘Up‘, which followed ‘WAP‘.
