The couple who first started dating in 2002 but called it off in 2004, were engaged for the second time in April 2022. Exchanging rings and reading the vows, the couple picked Sin City, Las Vegas, as the destination for the wedding ceremony.

Britney Spears and Jason Alexander
Britney Spears married her childhood best friend Jason Alexander for 55 hours. The event, later described as a “joke”, happened in January 2004. Britney hosted a New Year’s Eve party which ended up with her getting married to Jason in Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas. The wedding was later annulled. The annulment petition said, “Plaintiff Spears lacked understanding of her actions if she was incapable of agreeing to the marriage.” Spears married Kevin Federline in October 2004 and had two sons with him. They divorced in 2007. Currently, Spears, 40, is married to Sam Asghari, 28.
Nicolas Cage and Riko Shibata
On February 16, 2021, Nicolas Cage, 58, married Japanese actress Riko Shibata, 28, in an intimate wedding ceremony. According to Cage’s representative, the ceremony happened at the Wynn Hotel, Las Vegas. The couple’s first meeting happened on the set of ‘Prisoners of the Ghostland’ in 2019. In the middle of the pandemic, the couple got engaged on a video call. Cage and Shibata are expecting their first child together.
Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas
Sophie Turner of ‘Game of Thrones‘ fame and Joe Jonas married privately in Las Vegas. The wedding ceremony was initiated at A Little White Chapel in May 2019. The wedding took place after the 2019 Billboard Music Awards. Amongst the guests were Jonas’ siblings – Nick and Kevin, along with their wives Priyanka Chopra and Danielle Jonas, respectively. Funnily enough, what was meant to be a private event was ruined by DJ Diplo, who was also present there. Diplo live-streamed the entire wedding ceremony. However, later apologies were shared and the duo has moved on.
Frank Sinatra and Mia Farrow
Frank Sinatra and Mia Farrow’s wedding was quite an unusual one. The couple met in 1964 when Sinatra was 48 and Mia was 19. They married in 1966 and divorced in 1968. The marriage ceremony happened at the Sands Hotel in Las Vegas.
Bruce Willis and Demi Moore
Bruce Willis and Demi Moore married on November 21, 1987, at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas. The marriage, which lasted for a good 13 years, saw its end in 2000, as the pair decided to go their own ways. The couple shares three daughters together.
Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton
In 2000, Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton, while on a trip to Las Vegas, secretly married after dating for a few months. In 2002, the couple adopted a child. However, just the next year, the couple divorced. Speaking of her relationship with Thornton, Jolie told American Vogue in 2004: “It took me by surprise, too, because overnight, we totally changed. I think one day we had just nothing in common.”

Lily Allen and David Harbour
In September 2020, the ‘Stranger Things‘ actor, David Harbour, married the British singer, Lily Allen. The wedding ceremony was officiated in an Elvis-themed chapel by Brendan Paul, owner of the chapel and a famous Presley impersonator. Sharing their wedding picture, David wrote in the caption: “In a wedding officiated by the king himself, the people’s princess wed her devoted, low-born but kind credit-card holder in a beautiful ceremony lit by the ashen skies courtesy of a burning state miles away in the midst of a global pandemic.”
Rick Salomon and Pamela Anderson
After dating for a long time, the couple decided to take the plunge. They read the vows in 2007 at Mirage Hotel, Las Vegas. It was an intimate wedding ceremony with family members and close friends. Two months later, Anderson filed for a divorce. The couple again came around in January 2014, remarried, and saw its end just six months later as Anderson filed for divorce.
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker
Right after attending the 64th Grammy Awards, the couple had a small wedding ceremony in Las Vegas in the early hours of April 4. Like many, Kourtney and Travis also had an Elvis impersonator officiating their wedding. The ceremony took place at the One Love Wedding Chapel. According to Marty Frierson, the owner of the Chapel, “the couple arrived around 2am with four guests who filmed the occasion.” The guests further reported, “They spoke to Elvis, did the paperwork and Elvis married them, they danced, there was a lot of kissing and hugging. Afterwards Elvis sang three songs, they walked out and did the bouquet toss … It was maybe a two-minute ceremony.” The couple later had a huge Italian wedding and a small legal ceremony in Santa Barbara.
Elvis and Priscilla Presley
Elvis and Priscilla Presley married in Sin City in May 1967. Since then, Elvis Presley has become synonymous with Las Vegas weddings. The couple read their vows at the Aladdin hotel. The ceremony was a private event, the invited guests being only family members and close friends. In 2015, speaking of her wedding day, Priscilla said, “My wedding was very unusual. It was the people closest to us, and private, and that’s how we wanted it. We didn’t want a fan club. We didn’t want a circus.” The couple separated in 1972 and officially got divorced in 1973.
