It seems like Thor and (fake) Loki have taken their brotherly bond to the next level—by getting inked together! Matt Damon and Chris Hemsworth share a very close bond that is no secret in Hollywood. The megastars have been friends for a long time and have seemingly retained their friendship through thick and thin.
In another display of their strong bond as friends, the actors were seen getting inked together. A social media post by the tattoo studio where the duo went showed the stars being there for each other along with their wives as they got inked.
Matt Damon Gets Moral Support From Chris Hemsworth As The Stars Get Inked Together
Matt Damon seemingly received some strong support from his longtime friend and co-star Chris Hemsworth during a tattoo session. In an Instagram post shared by tattoo artist Trudy Lines Tattoo, Chris Hemsworth is seen comforting Damon while getting inked as their wives Elsa Pataky and Luciana Barroso watch on, smiling in the background.
In the post, Hemsworth can be seen holding Damon’s hand and offering reassurance during the tattoo work. Corina Weikl, the tattoo artist who got both stars inked, thanked Hemsworth and Pataky for being “so great” in the caption of the post.
The images and videos revealed that Hemsworth and Pataky also got tattoos during the session. However, they did not seemingly need any moral support while doing so like Damon did. The snapshots gave users a glimpse into the process with the artist at work, and the stars patiently getting inked.

Chris Hemsworth And Matt Damon Have Been Friends For A Long Time
The post shared on Monday stands as yet another proof of the strong bond that the stars have been nurturing. Chris Hemsworth and Matt Damon appeared together in the ‘Thor’ franchise, with Damon making a memorable cameo as an actor portraying Loki.
However, their friendship extends well beyond the screen and has been intact over the years. Even the wives of these stars are friends and the couples have been spotted often enjoying vacations and adventures together.
Earlier this year, both families welcomed the new year together with a ski trip as they shared glimpses of it on social media. Hemsworth and Pataky posted photos of their time together, that also featured Damon, Barroso, and their children enjoying the snowy retreat.
Though Damon appeared to be needing some support from his friend as he got inked, this wasn’t his first tattoo. The Oscar winner already has several symbolic tattoos including ones that pay tributes to his family, his father’s boat, and even a design inspired by the late Heath Ledger.
