At 31, the former One Direction star died following a terrible fall from a balcony in Buenos Aires on October 16. Amid a flood of tributes and messages coming from people across the globe, Danielle Peazer has said her last words for him as she paid her respects in a very personal message.
Danielle Peazer Reminisces Over The Last Message Liam Payne Sent Her
In her heartfelt Instagram post on Sunday, Danielle Peazer recalled the time she spent with Liam Payne as her former partner. She revealed that the singer had sent her a message days before he died.
“Receiving a message from you a couple of weeks ago expressing your happiness for the love I found with Sonny and Mia is something I’ll always carry close to my heart,” she wrote, referring to her current partner, Sonny Jay, and their daughter, Mia.

Peazer and Payne were dating when the singer was competing on ‘The X Factor’. She was a backup dancer on the show since 2010. Their romance has lasted over two years, and even though their relationship officially ended in 2013, Peazer said that her connection with Payne survived.
“Our relationship may have ended back in 2013, but that seemed to be just the start of our story,” she wrote, adding that their bond remained unique and misunderstood by many.

Danielle Peazer also praised Liam Payne for being a great father to his son Bear. Mentioning that Liam was very proud of being a father, Peazer wrote some touching words. “The thought that now there’s a child growing up without one of their parents is heartbreaking and unfair,” she wrote, adding that she sends her love and strength to Payne’s family.

She also reflected on the complicated relationship she shared with him, acknowledging all the ups and downs of their former relationship. “You could also wind me up so much, and I probably annoyed the hell out of you sometimes too,” she said, but then also talked of how all the rows were usually followed by laughter.
Peazer concluded her emotional tribute, with gratitude for Payne for the important lessons about boundaries and self-care that he taught her. “I’m sorry your story didn’t end differently, and I’m sorry you didn’t ever get to share more of your magic with the world,” she concluded, signing off with a poignant, “Rest easy my friend.”
