While some people consider meeting Matt Damon to be a dream-come-true moment, twin brothers Cole Sprouse and Dylan Sprouse didn’t think the same when they met ‘The Martian’ star. Cole recalled on SiriusXM’s ‘Let’s Talk Off Camera With Kelly Ripa‘ how he and his brother were obsessed with the World of Warcraft video game when they were younger and disliked being interrupted.
Cole Sprouse described that one day when they were on the set, the production told them that Damon’s kids were big fans of their Disney show ‘The Suite Life Of Zack And Cody’ and wanted to stop by. Cole recalled, “I remember Dylan and I turning to each other and just going, ‘Ugh. I can’t believe we have to get off a World of Warcraft right now.”
He went on to say that since they were just fifteen at the time they had no idea how to stop playing the game and interact with the kids while the game seemed more important to them. Every crew member was looking amazed at Matt Damon while Cole and Dylan were so invested in playing the game that they ignored everything. “I think he came in and was like, ‘Hey guys. Wow, so nice to meet you,’ and we were like, ‘Yeah, yeah. Hey man. Hey, how you doing?’ and just went right back to the game,” he added while explaining the whole interaction.
Furthermore, he said that he still felt bad about the incident and that he would apologize to Damon if they ever crossed paths. He added, “We were just being kids and playing video games, and I’m sure if I ever meet Matt Damon again, I’m just gonna say ‘I’m sorry’ and it’ll be all good.”
Will There Be A Reboot Of ‘The Suite Life Of Zack And Cody’?
‘The Suite Life of Zack and Cody‘ concluded in September of 2008. The original cast members of the show returned with a spin-off of the show titled ‘Suite Life on Deck‘ from 2008-2011.
Fans have been hoping for a program reboot for years, hoping to see the twin brothers back on the screen. However, Cole and Dylan eliminated the possibility that they would play Jack and Cody again. It’s a little depressing but everything good has an end. Disney channel still has older episodes that we may watch to relive the nostalgia.
