Accompanying his brother, Payton Koch to the Emmy Awards, Cooper Koch created a commotion by wearing a wedding ring on his left hand. Koch told the story behind the notorious jewelry on Andy Cohen Live. Payton was nominated for editing the drama series ‘Only Murders In The Building’.
Cooper said, “We were getting ready and I didn’t have any jewelry on. And I was with my boyfriend and we went into my room and I was looking through my jewelry.” Amidst their search, the couple came across the wedding ring that belonged to Cooper’s grandfather.
Cooper stated playfully, “I was like, ‘Oh, I should just wear this ring,’ and then we just like put it on my ring finger.” However, the couple’s prank became an intimate moment. The actor added, “It just kind of became this little like, I don’t know, romantic, protective mechanism.”
Cooper Koch Is “Very Much Committed” To His Boyfriend
Cooper Koch’s grandfather’s wedding ring has been a part of a marriage and, apparently, a prank. The actor told Andy Cohen, “I just wanted to like trip people out a little bit and see what they would say.” Koch revealed that he is not married yet his boyfriend is “very much committed to me as much as I am to him.”
