He got the initial idea after witnessing the death of several of his friends in Afghanistan in a helicopter crash during an ongoing operation.
The Foundation provides scholarships and grants to the children of fallen soldiers of special operations. So far, Goggins has been able to raise as much as $2 million for the Special Operations Warrior Foundation.
