In 2020, after George Floyd’s death, protestors in Minnesota caught Trump’s attention and he reacted with a heavily violent tweet, threatening to shoot them. His statement read, “These THUGS are dishonoring the memory of George Floyd, and I won’t let that happen. Just spoke to Governor Tim Walz and told him that the Military is with him all the way. Any difficulty and we will assume control but, when the looting starts, the shooting starts. Thank you!”
Taylor Swift then responded to the tweet and called him out for his statement.

Alyssa Farah Griffin, who previously was Trump’s aide thinks that Taylor Swift is the only person who can defeat Trump in the 2024 presidential election. Griffin previously worked as an assistant to Trump during his presidential tenure.
She currently is a host for ‘The View’ and she and her co-host talked about Taylor’s relationship with Travis Kelce.
“It may be a fling, it may be any sort of thing, but she’s always dated actors or musicians who kind of fit the same bill. Dating a pro athlete is totally different and I think, because she’s not always had success in love, going for something outside of the box makes sense.”
Then talking about Swift’s chances of defeating Trump, she said, “This ends in one way. We are all Taylor Swift fans and, to be honest, if Donald Trump looks like he’s going to win, she’s just going to need to get in the race and defeat him once and for all because she’s probably the only person who can.”
