However, the actor is going through a bad phase as his last few projects have failed to receive a positive response. There were high expectations from ‘Black Adam’ in 2022 but it failed to make enough collections.

Dwayne Johnson’s Upcoming Projects Are In Trouble
While Dwayne Johnson’s latest projects have failed miserably, critics have also highlighted the same when they have shared statements on the actor’s current condition. Jeff Sneider said that Johnson is facing a problem in getting a green light for his upcoming projects.
Sneider said that because ‘Jungle Cruise’, ‘Red Notice’, and ‘Black Adam’ failed, Johnson was forced to return to the character of Luke Hobbs despite that he decided not to return to play the character again.
Sneider also addressed one of Johnson’s upcoming projects titled ‘Red One’, which will be released on Amazon Prime Video, and said that it might not be as good as expected.

Dwayne Johnson Will Return As Luke Hobbs
Although Dwayne Johnson’s last few projects have failed, he is planning to make a big comeback with the ‘Fast & Furious’ franchise. ‘Fast X’ has confirmed the return of Luke Hobbs after his appearance in the mid-credits scene.
Meanwhile, the appearance of Hobbs in ‘Fast X’ has also hinted towards the possibility of a sequel to ‘Luke & Hobbs’, released in 2019. On the other hand, Universal has also confirmed a standalone project focusing only on Hobbs’ character and his past before meeting the crew of Dominic Toretto.
‘Fast X’ has already grossed more than $600 million at the box office. Two more sequels have been confirmed with the 11th film releasing sometime in 2025.
