While Dwayne Johnson has played a variety of roles over the years, people are unaware that he was aiming to pursue something else in the beginning. Johnson is already popular for his career in WWE but he desired to become a footballer and CIA agent.
Johnson has now addressed his dreams in the beginning, saying that certain problems prevented him from doing so. However, this did not stop him from becoming a well-known face in Hollywood.
Dwayne Johnson Had To Give Up On His Dreams
Dwayne Johnson has adjusted his life between his career in WWE and acting but he aimed to become a professional footballer once. He eventually gave up at one point and decided to pursue something else.
Johnson then aimed to become a CIA agent but he discovered in his criminology program that he was not cut out academically for the profession. The problem was his grades.
He stated at the time, “My criminal justice professor and advisor (Dr. Paul Cromwell) convinced me that the best operative I could become for the agency is one that also had a law degree. I thought that’s a great idea, until I realized no respectable law school would ever let me in with my pile of steaming sh*t grades. End of story.”
