Angus Cloud Died Due To Fatal Overdose Of Fentanyl, Cocaine, Methamphetamine
In July 2023, TMZ reported that Angus Cloud was declared dead at the scene due to a “possible overdose.” The 25-year-old was suffering through a tough time after the death of his father.
In the statement, Angus’ family said, “Angus was open about his battle with mental health, and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight on their own.”
Now, the Alameda County Coroner’s Office has told Variety the cause of the ‘Euphoria’ star’s death. The office confirmed that Angus Cloud died due to “acute intoxication due to combined effects of methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl, and benzodiazepines.”

The Actor’s Mother Penned A Heartfelt Note
Lisa Cloud, Angus Cloud’s mother, wrote a heartfelt note after the death of the actor. In the letter, he informed the fans that Angus did not want to die and that he had a joyful last day. She wrote about Angus’ impact that his role as Fez in ‘Euphoria’ created and how he was saved 10 years ago after a life-threatening injury.
Lisa Cloud wrote, “His struggles were real. He gave and received so much love and support to and from his tribe. His work in ‘Euphoria’ became a lightning rod for his generation and opened up a conversation about compassion, loyalty, acceptance, and love.”
She talked about a fatal injury that could have taken his life 10 years ago. Lisa added, “His head injury 10 years ago miraculously didn’t result in death as it almost always does. He was given 10 bonus years and filled them with creativity and love. Social media posts have suggested his death was intentional. I want you to know that is not the case. To honor his memory, please make random acts of kindness part of your daily life. Bless your hearts.”
