The actor, Angus Cloud, best known for his roles as Fezco O’Neill in the HBO hit drama ‘Euphoria’ died at the age of 25. The family confirmed the news to CNN. He passed away at his family home in Oakland, California. The actor has been mentally weak after his father’s passing just a week before.
“We hope the world remembers him for his humor, laughter, and love for everyone. We ask for privacy at this time as we are still processing this devastating loss,” the family informed the public of their loss. Here’s what is known about the actor’s death.
Angus Cloud Dies At 25
It was later on July 31, 2023, that the world knew about the tragic passing of Angus Cloud that morning. The actor became a rising star in Hollywood through his breakthrough role in ‘Euphoria’. He portrayed the role of Fezco, who was the drug dealer with a soft side for Rue, played by Zendaya. Cloud’s co-star Storm Reid posted her tribute to the actor on her Instagram story.
He had also appeared in multiple music videos with artists like Becky G, Karol G, and Juice WRLD. Two other projects were coming his way. The young actor was to act in an untitled thriller, alongside Katheryn Newton, Dan Stevens, and Melissa Barrera.

Angus Cloud: Cause Of Death
Angus Cloud’s mother had called 911 at around 11:30. She informed a “possible overdose” and reported that the actor didn’t have a pulse. Cloud was pronounced dead on the scene, TMZ reports. It is allegedly suggested that Angus’ death was related to his father’s passing.
“It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today. As an artist, a friend, a brother, and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways. Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss.,” his family referred to Angus’ father’s loss a week before.
“The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend. Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence,” his family wrote.
Though not revealed it is suspected that the cause of death is the “possible overdose“. Sources have said to TMZ that the actor had been “battling suicidal thoughts after getting back from Ireland, where they laid his father to rest.”
