Jon Snow but Victorian, now that’s something that glides off the tongue quite smoothly. What might be a figment of imagination right now might be on the screens in a while. Kit Harington (the actor who played Jon Snow) and Sophie Turner (the actress who played Sansa Stark) are in talks of co-starring in a Natasha Kermani horror production this time around.
After starring in all eight seasons of ‘Game Of Thrones’ Harrington and Turner have been in a career slump as of late. This new opportunity might just break this dry spell as they explore their new world of near-immortal blood-sucking creatures.

Kit Harington And Sophie Turner Will Co-star In ‘The Dreadful’
In the ancient and sprawling realm of Westeros, where summer can last for years and winters a lifetime, a tapestry of power, passion, and peril unfolds like an epic saga. At the heart of the story lies the treacherous battle for Iron Throne.
The step-siblings Jon Snow (played by Kit Harington) and Sansa Stark (acted by Sophie Turner) face the challenges of defending their homelands from the grips of White walkers and the army of the dead. The two actors had great chemistry during the filming of ‘Game Of Thrones’.
After the end of the mammoth of a journey, the two actors haven’t had much luck in their personal or professional lives. Harington who has opened up about his alcoholism and suicidal tendencies has starred in the AppleTV+ series, ‘Extrapolations’, and films including ‘Blood for Dust‘ and ‘Baby Ruby‘.
None of his advents enjoyed much success. Turner on the other hand seems to be in a similar precarious situation with child settlements between her husband and just cameos in ‘Do Revenge‘ to her name since 2019.
‘The Dreadful’, a gothic horror movie which has been written and will be directed by Natasha Kermani might prove to be a nick in the armor of these unlucky events for two.
The Dreadful follows Anne (Sophie Turner) and her mother-in-law Morwen who live a solitary, harsh life on the outskirts of society – but when a man (Kit Harington) from their past returns, he will set off a sequence of events that become a turning point for Anne.

Natasha Kermani’s Cinematography
Natasha Kermani is a new emerging female director who has proved her mettle in the horror-thriller genre. Her previous works like ‘Lucky’ and ‘Imitation Girl’ have been applauded for their engaging storyline and intricate cinematography.
Kermani’s slasher-themed ‘Lucky’ thriller surrounds a couple who are on a run from a stalker who doesn’t seem to die and is out for their blood. Clad with dark humor it is an interesting watch. What sets the movie further apart is it delving into breaking gender stereotypes, “a feminist film in the guise of a horror movie”
The Irish-American director’s ‘Imitation Girl’ doesn’t garner as much positive reviews in the audience. Though the plot had much potential to explore, the almost non-commital development of the female lead and out-of-dish execution doesn’t sit well. Now we can just wait and watch if her latest project takes flight well or plummets to its demise like Icarcus for being a tad bit too ambitious.
