Courteney Cox recently opened up about her continued connection with her loved ones after their deaths, including with her ‘Friends‘ co-star Matthew Perry. In a recent interview with CBS Sunday Morning, the ‘Friends‘ star spoke about her spiritual experiences with Perry.
Referring to him as “probably one of the funniest human beings in the world“, Cox said she felt Perry’s presence frequently since his death. “You know, he’s just so funny. He is genuinely a huge heart, obviously struggled,” Cox said about Perry during the interview.
“I’m so thankful I got to work so closely with him for so many years. He visits me a lot, if we believe in that,” she added.
Further elaborating on her beliefs and spiritual experiences, Cox revealed that Perry is not the only one she “talks” to. “You know, I talk to my mom, my dad, Matthew — I feel like there are a lotta people that are, I think, that guide us. I do sense, yeah, I sense Matthew’s around, for sure,” she explained.

Matthew Perry’s Death Left His ‘Friends’ Co-Stars Devastated
Highly popular and loved as Chandler Bing on ‘Friends’, Matthew Perry died on October 28 last year due to the “acute effects of ketamine.” The actor struggled with drug abuse all his life and was also quite open about his struggles.
After his death, his ‘Friends‘ co-stars including Courtney Cox released a joint statement expressing their grief over the sudden and unsurmountable loss of a beloved co-star and friend. “We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew,” the statement read.
“We were more than just cast mates. We are a family. There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss,” it added. Other than the joint statement, Cox also paid tribute to Perry by sharing a picture if them together from a ‘Friends‘.
Praising him for his humor and kindness, Perry wrote in the caption, “I am so grateful for every moment I had with you, Matty, and I miss you every day.”
