Zendaya is one of those actresses who has made a name for herself at such a young age. At just 25, she has done several successful films and television shows. She is also one of the youngest Emmy Award winners. HBO’s ‘Euphoria‘ was one such show that helped her showcase her amazing acting prowess.
Fans have been waiting for its third season since its explosive second season ended earlier this month. Now in a recent interview, Zendaya has talked about her character Rue and the upcoming season. Without giving away too much, the young talent has given enough hints to increase everyone’s excitement.

Zendaya Talks About The Third Season Of ‘Euphoria’
Zendaya became a household name for portraying the protagonist Rue Bennet in ‘Euphoria‘. She is a 17-year-old drug addict and the anchor of the story throughout the show.
In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Zendaya talked about season three. She was also the executive producer of the show’s second season.
When asked about what we can expect, Zendaya said: “I think it’ll be exciting to explore the characters out of high school. I want to see what Rue looks like in her sobriety journey, how chaotic that might look.”
She continued, “But also with all the characters, in the sense where they’re trying to figure out what to do with their lives when high school is over and what kind of people they want to be.”
The Emmy winner stated what made the season special. “What was special about this season was that we got to dive into [the other characters] in a much deeper sense. I think we can do that again with the third season. There’s so much talent, you want to make sure everybody has the chance to have that.”
The ‘Euphoria’ Star Became The Youngest Emmy Winner
At this year’s Emmy Awards, Zendaya became the recipient of the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series Award. She was also nominated for executive producing the show.
She talked about taking a bigger role as a producer. “On the first season, I was already doing it without having the title. Sam was giving me the space to be creative and to learn, and so when it came down to the second season — and also the in-between [special] episodes — it just felt like the right thing to have it in a more official capacity.”
Zendaya further said, “You don’t usually get that kind of hands-on experience, and everybody is different with how they choose to produce. It’s a labor of love for all of us.”
The second season of the show premiered in January this year and met with critical acclaim. A third season will release in 2024.
