What Are The Conspiracy Theories Surrounding Epstein’s Death?
After his death, an autopsy was conducted by New York City’s Chief Medical Examiner Barbara Sampson. Meanwhile, pathologist Michael Baden was sent by Epstein’s lawyers to observe the autopsy. And after a four-hour-long autopsy, Epstein’s death was ruled as suicide.
However, the conspiracy surrounding his death remains. An anonymous source reported that broken bones found in Epstein’s neck were similar to ‘victims of homicide by strangulation’.
One thing that was certain was that there were many violations of prison rules on the night of Epstein’s death. Also, Jeffrey Epstein threatened to release ‘compromising information‘ about some notable political figures. All these lead to a big conspiracy theory that Epstein was murdered.
Epstein’s defense attorney Reid Weingarten and his brother both have denied that his death was a suicide. The attorneys had met Epstein the evening of his death and said, “We did not see a despairing, despondent, suicidal person”.
His brother also rejected the suicide ruling by saying, “I could see if he got a life sentence, I could then see him taking himself out, but he had a bail hearing coming up.”
When more details surrounding Epstein’s death were made public, a meme became popular saying “Epstein didn’t kill himself”. Netizens took to social media with the conspiracy theory and the meme in circulation.
