Tom Brady is the talk of the town but for a reason other than his football prowess on the field. The NFL star is sending the internet into a frenzy with some of his brutal roasting abilities on his recently released Netflix show ‘The Roast Of Tom Brady‘. The two-and-a-half-hour Netflix special that aired on Sunday has taken digs at many celebrities including the Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce and his girlfriend Taylor Swift.
However, Brady himself wasn’t spared from the discomfort of getting mocked; and he also dragged his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen along. Bündchen has found herself front and center of the roasts during the show. The host of the show Kevin Hart wasted no time diving into jokes about Bündchen and her relationship with jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente, while some others also chimed in later. The host of ‘The Roast Of Tom Brady‘, Kevin Hart, kicked off the show with a joke on Tm Brady’s ex-wife Gisele Bündchen’s ongoing relationship with jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente. Imagining what would have been the supposed ultimatum that she gave to Brady, Hart said, “Gisele gave you an ultimatum. She said you have to retire or you’re done. But when you have a chance to go 8-9 you gotta do it.”
He then teased Brady about him leaving the New England Patriots, suggesting he “f**ked” coach Bill Belichick by joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. “You f–ked him good. You did, Tom, you f–ked your coach,” he said.

Associating the situation with his divorce and the his ex-wife consequent relationship with her karate coach, Hart said, “But let me tell you something people … that’s what you’ve got to do to maintain your happiness. You sometimes got to f–k your coach. You know who else f–ked their coach? Gisele. She f–ked that karate man,” he said, referring to Tom’s ex-wife Gisele and her current boyfriend, her jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente.
Kevin Hart continued to target Tom Brady’s ex-wife and her ongoing affair, as he inquired how Brady could not guess what was going on between his then-wife and her coach. “I mean Jesus Christ, Tom. One of the smartest quarterbacks ever played a game. How did you not see this coming?” he mocked Brady, asserting that despite having an excellent mind that often helps him on the football field, the NFL star failed to save his relationship.
“Eight f–king karate classes a day. … Eight karate classes a day and she’s still a white belt. F–k Tom. The only bruises she had were on her ass. everybody should have known it,” Brady said.
Brady look visibly uncomfortable with the roast as he sipped some water while the audience were also in bit of a shock about the brutality of the Hart’s comments.

What Happened Between Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen?
Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen parted ways in 2022 after 13 years of marriage and birthing two children. Some reports that came out the same year suggested that the supermodel was having an affair with her jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente, making people wonder if that is what led to the divorce.
Though she was spotted with her coach in Valente in 2022, Bündchen denied the dating rumors. However, the couple went public with their relationship two years later in 2024. A source told Us that their friendship turned romantic during the summer of 2023.
Other comedians also joined in on the roasting as the show progressed, with Nikki Glaser making a joke about Brady’s Super Bowl rings and his marriage. “You have seven rings. Well, eight now that Gisele gave hers back,” Glaser said. Brady’s former teammate Drew Bledsoe got also poked fun at Brady’s career and personal life.
Though it must have been uncomfortable for the star to take all the personal and professional jibes, Brady eventually took the stage to address the jokes. “There have been a lot of jokes tonight, but I miss the love of my life … football,” he said, dropping the ultimate punchline.
