The 2011 movie was where the two actors met for the first time. The rest is history! However, Reynolds and Lively have not starred in any movie together since then. The ‘Deadpool‘ star has a hilarious reply for that.

Why Ryan Reynolds Hasn’t Worked With Blake Lively Since Their First Film Together
While promoting ‘Deadpool And Wolverine‘, Ryan Reynolds along with Hugh Jackman and Shawn Levy were featured in an interview with Comicbook.com. There Reynolds revealed why he hasn’t worked with Lively again.
“In the old days, they all got to work together, hanging out,” Reynolds mused. “We got Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn … That’d be nice, I’d love to work with Blake.” However, Reynolds said that he could not afford her fees. In the fun interview, Reynolds also quipped that Lively is “not half the friend that Hugh is.” Hugh Jackman joined in on the fun by reminiscing about their longstanding friendship predating Reynolds and Lively’s relationship.

Ryan Reynolds Jokes He is Not Playing Lady Deadpool
There have been many rumors surrounding the upcoming movie. One of them is the appearance of Lady Deadpool. Many fans are speculating that she will be making an appearance in the movie. Some even suggested that it was Taylor Swift who played the role while others pointed out that Blake Lively was going to play the role.
“I love listening to the conspiracy theories. Who is it? My favorite one that travelled quite a bit I saw, was me,” Reynolds told Access Hollywood before confirming that it was not him. “I don’t know how I could do that with my hips. I cannot walk like that to save my life. My shoulders? They’re absurdly broad for a suit like that. So no, it is not me,” Reynolds joked.
‘The Intern’ star then emphasized that he had no idea who was underneath the mask. “I don’t know. I’m going to find out myself. I specifically said, ‘Don’t tell me’ when we were shooting. I said, ‘Pick anyone you want and don’t tell me,’” Reynolds revealed.
