Her ex-husband, Rodney Metzer, staged a rescue but was later identified as the murderer and was sentenced to 25 years in prison after pleading guilty to charges including kidnapping and aggravated assault.
Kramer admitted that filming ‘Gaslit by My Husband‘ was emotionally challenging and triggering at times. “It was hard,” she said, adding that she also had a panic attack on set during a scene with her co-star Austin Nichols.
“I had a complete panic attack because Austin was on top of me. I couldn’t breathe. And that just triggered me right back to my abuse situation,” she said. Kramer clarified that stayed in close contact with her therapist throughout the filming process to help manage these triggers.
