Taylor Swift has stolen a lot of limelight over the past few months with her super successful Eras Tour coupled with her blooming relationship with NFL star Travis Kelce. It has been a phenomenal few months for the duo as both of them shined in their own fields while standing by each other’s side.
Swifties are all excited as Taylor is set to continue the tour after a short hiatus. However, before that, the pop sensation is set to release her upcoming album ‘Tortured Poets Department‘. While there already has been much buzz around the album, fans are curious about more details. As they are trying their best to know anything they can about it, Taylor’s close friend and music producer Jack Antonoff is guarding her secrets well.
“You’ve Come To The Wrong Place”: Jack Antonoff Tells Away Interviewers Asking Him About Taylor Swift’s Upcoming Album
Songwriter and record producer Jack Antonoff has refused to comment on his involvement in Taylor Swift’s highly anticipated new album, ‘Tortured Poets Department’. He has been a constant appearance in Taylor Swift’s life and career, both as a friend and as a producer. Swift has often mentioned him in her award acceptance speeches, cementing his position in her life. And Antonoff is seemingly paying back pretty well.
The 39-year-old abruptly ended an interview with Dutch news outlet NRC when he was questioned about his collaboration on Swift’s 11th studio album, scheduled for release on April 19. In response to inquiries regarding his work with Swift, Antonoff curtly said, “You know I don’t talk about that. If you’re looking for clickbait, you’ve come to the wrong place. Thank you for this conversation.”

“I Produce Music With My Friends”: Jack Antonoff Reflect On His Creative Approach While Making Music
However, before ending the interview, Antonoff did offer some insight into his creative process and relationships within the music industry. “I create music with my friends. It comes as it comes. I’m not the kind of producer who likes to give commands from behind a mixing console. I concern myself with the music itself; the way in which you can manage the creative process,” he was quoted as saying by Page Six.
“Success is a strange phenomenon. It distracts attention from the ordinary mechanisms that lead to good pop music. Being able to listen to each other well is one thing. The artists I work with trust that I can help them make their music better,” he added.
Antonoff has been long associated with Swift, right from their collaboration on her album ‘Midnights‘, which earned her a Grammy for best pop vocal album in 2024. Antonoff co-produced the album and co-wrote 12 out of 13 tracks.
