The life an actor might seem like a dream to live, but it has its own downsides. It’s not always great to be the center of attention anywhere and everywhere you go. Actor Kevin Bacon also must have felt the same when he decided to live like a normal, non-famous person for a day.
The actor attempted to fit in with the general public as he sought a taste of normalcy after years of living a famous life. The ‘Footloose‘ star, known for his dashing good looks and Hollywood glamour, donned a disguise in a brazen effort to go undercover as a non-famous person. Here’s what he said about this little experiment and how it turned out.

Kevin Bacon Disguises Himself As A Non Famous Person For A Day
Kevin Bacon got prosthetics and makeup done on his face to hide his identity and live like a regular person for a day. The results of his attempt, however, were less than satisfactory. At the end of the day, Bacon wanted to go back to his life of glitz and fame as it sucked for him to stand in queues and not have fans.
Talking to Vanity Fair, the X-Men actor talked about how he always wanted to try this out and initially didn’t think it could be possible because he had such a recognizable face. “I’m not complaining, but I have a face that’s pretty recognizable. Putting my hat and glasses on is only going to work to a certain extent,” he said.
However, he then decided to help from prosthetics and use special effects makeup. They worked quite well for him as the actor roamed the streets with no one recognizing him.
“Nobody recognized me,” he said, but then the initial joy wore off as he felt invisible. “People were kind of pushing past me, not being nice. Nobody said, ‘I love you.’ I had to wait in line to, I don’t know, buy a fucking coffee or whatever. I was like, This sucks. I want to go back to being famous,” he said.
Needless to say, the actor is made to be a famous person, and perhaps would never attempt any such thing again.

What Are Kevin Bacon’s Upcoming Projects?
Calling it a “full circle” event, Kevin Bacon revealed that he would be making a comeback to the horror genre in Ti West’s upcoming film ‘MaXXXine‘. Mia Goth plays the lead in ‘MaXXXine‘, the third installment in Ti West’s horror franchise, following X and Pearl.
Bacon discussed his involvement in the horror franchise as he talked about his personal affinity towards the genre. “I like it! I like the genre – I’m a consumer of it – and also, I like the fact that it’s life and death! I like the stakes. High stakes are something that’s great for an actor,” he said.
