Before Taika Waititi took over ‘Thor,’ the Asgardian god of thunder, was a brooding figure with little to no emotional depth. Under his leadership, Chris Hemsworth as Thor became one of the most complex characters in the MCU. He was still a god, but Waititi gave him heart and honor, which made him relatable to his mortal teammates.
But with the failure of ‘Love And Thunder,’ Thor’s future is in the dark. Chris Hemsworth, with his Alzheimer’s diagnosis, is living on borrowed time and has become more considerate of how he spends it. But if he were to return as Thor one more time, there’s one condition Kevin Feige and other high-ranking Disney executives have to agree upon.

Chris Hemsworth Remains Open-Minded About Returning As ‘Thor’
Chris Hemsworth isn’t ready to hang up his hammer despite the poor reception to ‘Love And Thunder.’ There are no ‘Thor’ related projects in Phases 5 and 6. However, he is open to making another ‘Thor’ movie if given the reigns to further experiment with the style and the genre. The audience has run out of patience with superhero movies, so Hemsworth doesn’t want to rehash what’s been done.
Chris Hemsworth wants to explore new creative angles so people “don’t roll their eyes” at him as Thor. He told Entertainment Weekly while promoting ‘Extraction 2,’ ” If an audience wants to see it, and if there’s something that we believe is exciting and fun, then great. I’ve loved being able to reinvent that character a few times. I don’t have the answer yet, but I would love to try and [figure out] how we can do that again and keep it a little unpredictable.”

Chris Hemsworth’s Reaction To Martin Scorsese’s And Quentin Tarantino’s Marvel Opinions
Chris Hemsworth was recently in the news about how the mixed reception of his latest ‘Thor’ movie has kept him from working with prominent Hollywood directors. The Australian actor dreamt of working with Martin Scorsese and Quentin Tarantino but is convinced their opinion of him has diminished because of his Marvel stint as the Asgardian god.
Chris Hemsworth told the outlet, “That’s super depressing when I hear that. There goes two of my heroes I won’t work with. I guess they’re not a fan of me. I’m thankful that I have been a part of something that kept people in cinemas. Now, whether or not those films were to the detriment of other films, I don’t know. I don’t love when we start scrutinizing each other when there’s so much fragility in the business and in this space of the arts as it is.”
