‘The Witcher’ will be back for its third season in the summer of 2023. Viewers are still not over the end of Season 2! The series is like a slow burn, but worth the wait for the revelations. Now, as per reports, the next season of ‘The Witcher’ is already in post-production. During Netflix’s Tudum event, we get to know more about the upcoming season, where Minnie Driver will be seen in a pivotal role. While there is a pivotal addition, there is a pivotal actor who will not be a part of the show post the new season three. The actor is the one who plays Geralt. Yes, Henry Cavill. Who Will Replace Henry Cavill In The Season Four Of ‘The Witcher’?
In November 2021, Henry Cavill promised the fans of the show, an adaptation of Polish novels about his extended appearance. In an interview, he assured to support the creator’s vision to keep the show running for seven seasons. He said, “Absolutely,” Cavill says. “As long as we can keep telling great stories which honor Sapkowski’s work.” Cut to 2022, the actor is all set to reprise the most beloved superhero character in the DC Universe, Superman.
In the wake of his new endeavors, officially, Henry Cavill will pass the baton of Geralt’s character to a new actor. In an Instagram post, Henry wrote, “My journey as Geralt of Rivia has been filled with both monsters and adventures, and alas, I will be laying down my medallion and my swords for Season 4.” While signing off from the Netflix series, he passed the sword to Liam Hemsworth, who will sketch the role of the stoic monster hunter.

He continued, “In my stead, the fantastic Mr. Liam Hemsworth will be taking up the mantle of the White Wolf. As with the greatest of literary characters, I pass the torch with reverence for the time spent embodying Geralt and enthusiasm to see Liam’s take on this most fascinating and nuanced of men.”
Hemsworth is the brother of Chris Hemsworth and an actor who is popularly known for the ‘Hunger Games’ franchise. Cavill wrote, “Liam, good sir, this character has such a wonderful depth to him, enjoy diving in and seeing what you can find.” Hemsworth is also honored to play the part.

Twitter Wants The Series To Be Cancelled In The Absence Of The Actor
Twitter is not taking the farewell of Henry Cavill very well. The actor portrayed the character for the last two seasons. He is an ardent gamer, so the franchise which is inspired by video games meant a lot to him. Now, as he departs from the part, Twitteratis are fuming over the decision.
