Kylie Kelce seems to be getting the record straight on how she feels about brother-in-law Travis Kelce‘s romance with Taylor Swift, and the baggage that comes with dating someone as popular as Swift is.
Kylie, who happens to be married to Jason Kelce of the Philadelphia Eagles, talked about Tayvis and said, “Ultimately, if Travis is happy, we’re happy. We are always cheering on Uncle Trav” referencing how her two daughters call Travis, “It’s such a treat to be able to do that on and off the field. But it’s been amazing.”
She also has, in the past talked about the positive impact of Swift attending football games and the rise in viewership it brought. “To see that other young girls are getting involved and that they want to sit down and cheer with their dads or they’re finding their own reason to be interested, it’s only something that can be painted in a positive and exciting light,” she added, “It’s just another way to encourage girls to appreciate sport.”
Before all of this though, rumors circulated that Kylie and Taylor weren’t the best of friends after tabloids claimed that both the WAGs didn’t get along. It all stemmed from Kylie talking about how she dislikes the spotlight, saying, “It’s not particularly my cup of tea to be in the spotlight or in front of a camera,” when asked about the extra attention the Kelces are getting ever since Swift joined the stands. Kylie added, “Travis has a lot of people that come to games, appropriately so, everyone loves to support him but it means that it’s a tight squeeze in there. Also, it’s fun to cheer and not feel like the entire room’s rooting against you.”
Her statement was taken out of reach as many concluded that she was shading Taylor. To this, she responded later on with, “Go watch that interview. I said it’s not my cup of tea to be, like, have attention on me. I didn’t say that. That seems like a stretch to me. You are reachin’, you’re reachin’, you’re reachin’.”

The Kelces And Taylor Swift
It’s pretty clear that the Kelces have warmed up to Swift and have made her a part of their family- as seen in pictures. Donna Kelce– mother of Jason and Travis is often seen hanging out and getting cozy with Taylor on the stands as the two (possibly) bond over their love for Travis. Apart from Donna, Daddy Kelce too had a few nice words to say about the pop sensation as he praised her for picking up her trash after her in the suite.
Ed Kelce said, “I’ll tell you something very special that I noticed about Taylor the first time I met her – We’re sitting in the suite, she gets up and in the front room, she gets up to go get a drink or something and she starts picking up empty bottles, cans, plates that are scattered around. Because in the suites everybody gets stuff and you empty it down wherever you can. And I’m just thinking, I don’t think she got the diva memo. She didn’t get the spoiled musician. She doesn’t know how to pull that off. And that really to me said a whole lot. She’s very smart. I mean, very. That comes through right away.”
All of this just adds up to the speculations that the couple might be making a big ring announcement pretty soon. As of now, Swift and Kelce were last seen on an intimate vacation in the Bahamas, pictures of which went viral soon after.
